The annual Matthew Bromley All Stars memorial basketball game will take place on Saturday, May 20th at the SGS WISE Arena.
The exhibition game, featuring Flyers stars from past and present is played each year in memory of Matt Bromley. Matt made a significant contribution to basketball in Bristol and Trowbridge and is greatly missed. The game is an opportunity to pay our own tributes and respect to an outstanding friend, team-mate, player and coach.
Admission is by donation and all funds raised will be donated to the Matthew Bromley Foundation, which is set up to help young talented athletes with their basketball aspirations.

Matt grew up in Trowbridge and began playing basketball as a teenager at school. In 1996 he led his Clarendon College team to the England Schools National Finals and then went on to join the Trowbridge Hawks in the West of England league.
As a junior player he joined Trowbridge Basketball Club and developed into one of the clubs most capable senior players. From the age of 16, Matt had contributed to the development of numerous young players in the Trowbridge area.
After leaving Clarendon, Matt attended Bath University to study the HND course in Sports Education & Coaching. In his two years at Bath University, Matt played a critical role in the university team success, helping the team to reach the BUSA Finals in 2004.
In 2005 Matt also joined the Flyers to continue playing the game he loved at National league level. With the Flyers, Matt was extremely successful and helped them win the National League Division 3 Championship in April 2006.
