Bristol Flyers club statement - Gameday parking

Bristol Flyers can confirm an updated fan parking process on game days.

SGS College has introduced paid parking this week, however the club has reached an agreement with Aviva insurance, a short five minute walk away from the WISE campus for fans to use their car park free of charge.

The Aviva Centre (Brierly Furlong, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8SW) will now have 300 spaces available to fans at all home game days from 6pm. All cars must be removed from the site by 10pm.

The new parking procedure will be in place from Friday when the Flyers host London Lions and stewards will be on hand to help supporters where needed.

Bristol Flyers would like to extend its thanks to Aviva, a company renowned for its support of positive community activity and initiatives, for supporting the club and helping them to manage the increased parking demand and attendances on game days.

SGS COLLEGE STATEMENT

SGS College is introducing a managed parking service at its WISE, Filton and Stroud sites to bring it in line with many other Colleges and Universities.

The service is being introduced to reduce the number of cars on site and encourage users to consider more environmentally friendly forms of travel, in line with sustainable transport initiatives.

The College is committed to ensuring we have a safe parking environment for learners, staff and visitors. The new service will ensure parking facilities are managed so they are not overloaded beyond capacity, with non-users of the facilities and that responsible parking is adhered to.

Charges are as follows:

- Up to 1 hour - £ 1.30

- Up to 2 hours - £ 2.00
- Up to 3 hours - £ 3.00
- Up to 4 hours - £ 4.00
- Up to 5 hours - £ 5.50

If during campus opening times a vehicle is parked for over 5 hours then you must re-register at the Pay & Display machine for the appropriate amount of time over 5 hours.

*Vehicles should not be left on campus after closing and will be subject to a fixed penalty notice in this case.
