Bristol Flyers App: Christmas Countdown Day Four

There's a Question of Sport theme to today's Bristol Flyers App challenge.

All you have to do is name the Flyers player we've disguised in today's video, available to watch when you use the AR scan.

When you think you know who it is, head to the Christmas Fan Challenge and send in a photo of the player you think it is, or a video telling us your answer!

To get started supporters should use the app’s AR functionality to scan the club logo (this can be found on a shirt, on the website etc) from 12pm.

On scanning the logo, a video will playback and you have to name the player!

How to use AR (Augmented Reality)

  • Open the official Bristol Flyers App
  • From the home screen, scroll down to ‘AR SCAN’
  • Click ‘get started’ if prompted, otherwise hover your camera over the club logo wherever you find it, tap the screen and the camera will lock in
  • A video will play back on your screen where the crest appeared

Then head to the Fan Challenge area....

How to submit content via Fan Challenges

  • From the home screen of the official Bristol Flyers App, scroll down to Fan Challenges
  • Click the 'Countdown to Christmas' challenge and tap ‘Respond’
  • On the next screen upload a photo or video (already taken or you can make a photo/ video from this point)
  • Give it a caption and select ‘done’
  • Now fill out the ‘title’ and ‘description’ text boxes, click ‘submit’.
  • If the ‘Post Review’ screen pops up, click ‘submit’. Ensure the included media is selected, but there is no need to select ‘compress media’

Please note all submitted media is not made public and can’t be viewed by other App users.

Check back on Friday (December 25th) for a special message.
