Bristol Flyers 2022/23 schedule revealed

Bristol Flyers will open their 2022/23 BBL Championship campaign at home to the Manchester Giants on Friday, September 23rd (7.30pm tip-off).

Earlier this month, the British Basketball League announced that the 2022/23 season will follow a new format, with each side facing each other on four occasions throughout the league campaign. You can read more about the changes to this year’s format by clicking here.

A standout fixture for all Flyers fans is the South West derby, with the four games taking place on October 7th, December 28th, February 3rd and March 17th.

The Flyers will also host Manchester Giants in the quarter-final of the BBL Cup on Saturday, November 26th, as teams battle it out once again to make the showpiece final at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.

Meanwhile the BBL Trophy begins on Friday, January 13th with the full draw set to take place later in the season.

The six non BBL sides entering the BBL Trophy this season will be:

  • Basketball Wales
  • Derby Trailblazers
  • Nottingham Hoods
  • St Mirren
  • Thames Valley Cavaliers
  • Worthing Thunder

The regular season will conclude on Sunday, April 23rd against the Sheffield Sharks at Ponds Forge.

Please note the following games are yet to be scheduled and will be added at a later date:

Glasgow Rocks (H) - BBL Championship
Newcastle Eagles (A) - BBL Championship
Leicester Riders (A) - BBL Championship

The schedule section of the website has now been updated with the 2022/23 fixture list in full.

Information on single game tickets and 2022/23 membership will be announced in due course.

*Please note all fixtures are subject to change.
