Benecos land naming rights to 2019 British Basketball play-offs

A leading European natural beauty product brand for both men and women has snapped up the naming rights for the biggest event in the British Basketball calendar at The O2 in London next month.

This exciting new commercial partnership for the sport will see the season climax of both the BBL and WBBL seasons come in the shape of the newly named benecos British Basketball Play-Offs.

Evolving from two German parents who were concerned over what chemicals their offspring would be using on their skin, they both harnessed their background in the conventional cosmetics industry to launch their own brand and benecos was born.

Since 2008, the brand has demonstrated that natural and organic products do not need to be expensive and prices can be highly competitive in the market. All benecos products are certified natural and organic (Apart from nail polish) to give consumers peace of mind.

Product ranges cover the needs of the whole body and both genders, with skincare items such as lip balms, shower gels, body lotions, shampoos and nail polish. There are also cosmetics in the form of lipsticks, eyeshadows and foundations.

Graeme Hume, the Managing Director of Pravera, who distribute benecos exclusively in the UK and Ireland, stated: “I am pleased that benecos skincare for men and women can contribute to the healthy development of basketball, with this great opportunity to sponsor the BBL and WBBL Play-Off Finals at The O2.

“I am pleased that we are engaging with a growing sport and importantly for us, the opportunity to engage with both men and women.”

BBL and WBBL Commercial Director Bob Hope added: “I would like to welcome benecos, a leading European cosmetics and toiletries natural beauty brand for men and women to our ever-increasing number of high profile BBL and WBBL commercial partners. It is a perfect fit for both of our leagues.

“This is the first venture into basketball for benecos and I’m sure this exciting brand is going to enjoy partnering with a highly progressive sport.”
