BBL Cup And Trophy Draws To Be Streamed LIVE On Facebook

For the very first time, fans will be able to watch the draws for both the BBL Cup and BBL Trophy live on social media.

The draws for the competitions will be streamed via the BBL Official Facebook page on Wednesday June 29th at 7.30pm.

The draws will be presented by Dan Routledge and will be undertaken by BBL Play-Off Final MVP, Mike Tuck of Sheffield Sharks and BBL Coach of the Year, Rob Paternostro of Leicester Riders.

The BBL Cup draw will be made for both the First Round and the Quarter-Finals.

The competition involves all 12 BBL clubs, with last season’s top four placed teams in the BBL Championship all receiving a bye to the last eight and also a guaranteed home tie.

All clubs will be battling to make it to the 2017 Final, which will take place at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on Sunday, January 15th.

Meanwhile the 2017 BBL Trophy Final will be played at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow on Sunday, March 19th.

The journey will begin with the draw for the First Round, which will see 16 teams paired against each other. This will be made up from the 12 BBL clubs and four invited non-BBL teams, who will all be guaranteed a home tie.

All BBL Cup and BBL Trophy ties will be played over a single leg until the Semi-Final stage of each competition, which will be across two legs.
