Project Take Off

How we help your basketball journey to ‘Take Off’

Project Take Off supports children from low-income families to start a lifelong enjoyment of basketball by creating a fun and inclusive first experience and by removing barriers to participation.

We will take people on a journey from their first experience through to regular club sessions, by…

Offering basketball sessions to targeted schools to create opportunities for children to experience our sport, many for the first time.

Working with the schools to identify children who would benefit from support and bursaries to attend our weekly development hubs.

We will further their enjoyment by inviting them to our holiday camps where they can apply their skills to gameplay in a fun environment.

Supporting participants to facilitate them joining regular club sessions and/or starting on the Flyers Basketball performance pathway.

Interested in making a donation towards a bursary?

Do you want to help? You can make any donation big or small which we will use 100% of to fund bursaries to support young people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend these opportunities, starting them on a journey of lifelong participation in Basketball.

Project Take Off partners

We could not run these interventions without the support of likeminded organisations. Find out more about our Project Take Off partners below and if you are a business that wants to join us on this journey then please contact our Nascence Project Team for more info.

Coyne & Associates has a long standing commitment to social responsibility and a drive to make a real difference. This is their 2nd year as a Nascence Partner and they generously decided to support this initiative to support the communities of Greater Bristol.
